Independence
Rankings and verdicts are decided by testing, never by advertisers, affiliate managers or brands. No company can pay to be a pick, to improve a score, or to remove a critical review.
Testing before opinion
We do not publish a recommendation for a product we haven't used. Where a claim comes from a vendor instead of our own testing, we say so in the text.
Corrections
When we get a fact wrong we correct the article and note the update date. Substantive corrections are flagged in the text. Report errors via our contact page.
